If there are any problems, discuss them with your agent and an attorney, and in some cases you could receive a discount or credit at the closing which can cover last-minute repairs or missing items.
- Closing on your home is your final step. This is where you will deliver your check for the purchase price, the seller will sign over the deed to you and give you the keys, and your new deed will be registered with the local land registry office
